MANUFACTURING PARTNER
The composite (polymer) insulators are manufactured by CYG Insulators located in Dongguan in the province of Guangdong, China. CYG has been in the market since 1968 with several branches in various fields, and it began manufacturing polymer (composite) insulators in August of 1994.
It has an annual production capacity of 2 million insulators and is considered one of the major composite insulator factories in China. The factory is internationally certified in ISO 9001 (Quality Management Certificate), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Certificate) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Safety and Health Certificate).
It has a Laboratory to conduct tests according to international standards (IEC, ANSI, NBR) and Chinese standards in the electrical, mechanical, chemical and thermo-mechanical fields, in addition to having a department dedicated to research and development. The company operates in more than 20 countries worldwide and has sold over 1.7 million insulators.
